Our custom jewelry design allows you to create the piece of jewelry of your dreams. Whether that is the engagement ring you have always dreamed of, or designing a completely new piece of jewelry, we are here to help.

The process begins with a complimentary private consultation, where we meet with you to discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific details you want incorporated into the piece including stone selection. This may include the type of jewelry (e.g., ring, necklace, bracelet), the occasion (e.g., engagement, anniversary, personal), the style (vintage, modern, minimalist, etc.), and any sentimental elements (family heirlooms, favorite gemstones).
Based on your initial consultation, we will create a digital CAD rendering within 2 business days. This allows you to visualize your project, but it also allows you to receive accurate quotes based on your finger size, metal weight/karatage, and stones.
A deposit of $160 per CAD rendering is required to begin design work and applied to your custom project. Once you receive your rendering, you can make two complimentary (minor) reviews to each design. Restarting a design completely will incur additional charges.
A 3D wax model can also be ordered for an additional $85 of your custom design which allows you to try on your custom designed piece of jewelry and understand it's scale. This is very beneficial for clients. While it is not required, it is strongly recommended.
After final client approval of the design, the jewelry moves into the production phase. Skilled, American artisans craft the piece according to the 3D model using the chosen materials. This stage involves the intricate work of casting, soldering, setting gemstones, polishing, and any other finishing touches.
Once the jewelry piece is completed, it undergoes a thorough quality control check by Golden Hour Jewelers. This ensures that all aspects of the design meet the client’s specifications and standards. Any minor adjustments or enhancements are made at this stage.
From the time of client-approved design, delivery time is 4-6 weeks, depending on complexity.
*Please note, a 50% deposit is paid upon acceptance of the design, with the balance due upon delivery. All custom orders are made-to-order & non-refundable.
